This is why we should always splurge on unprocessed, organic, and local foods when available, even if it takes sacrificing other things in the process. Totally worth it, considering good health is something you can never put a price-tag on. 

Better yet, grow your own herbs and vegetables! It saves money, keeps your yard (or windowbox) looking good, and the satisfaction of making a salad almost entirely from things plucked out of the yard cannot be beat.
