I spent the weekend jamming out some new pieces for the shop, with a friendly BBQ sprinkled in here or there. I've been really trying to improve the visual elements of my shop, (part of me really wishes I had studied graphic design instead of fashion).
all items available here. If you see it here and its not in the shop yet, don't worry, it will be soon!
I even tea-stained little gauze satchels for these new styles! While the finished effect is much more subtle than i expected, i still love the antiqued look. Here's a little step by step of that process... just brew some tea, dip the fabric in halfway, let it stew for 5-10 minutes, take some time to stop and smell the flowers, rinse, et voila!
Oh, and Luna totally helped, as usual. She always knows just how to block the sun for me!

I've been meaning to share this new collaboration from some of my all-time favorite etsy sellers, Moorea Seal, Roots and Feathers, and Spiral Drift just to name a few called The Bohemian Collective, and then I checked out their blog this morning and was stunned to find my blog mentioned!! What makes their concept so special is that it also includes giving back to the community through supporting charities.
From their website:
The artists and companies in The Bohemian Collective have joined efforts to create a place where we inspire creativity and giving through our art and vision. This rotating collaboration of artists will orchestrate inspiring, seasonal lookbooks featuring our handmade clothing, jewelry, and home accessories. Our desire is to share the love within our community as far as we can! This is where you can help. We invite anyone to participate by making a donation in any amount you choose which will be allocated to a specific charity each season. All proceeds this summer will benefit To Write Love On Her Arms, a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.
