"If civilization is ever going to be anything but a grandiose pratfall, anything more than a can of deodorizer in the sh*thouse of existence, the people are going to have to concern themselves with magic and poetry." Tom Robbins - Jitterbug Perfume
Once again getting all wrapped up in the artist studios over at The Makers Project. There's something beautifully mysterious to me about jewelry and metal forging studios, filled with tiny vials of precious stones and amulets, glass jars of chemical solutions, potions, and cures, and a sense of magic drifting through the air.
It's always been a dream of mine to have a studio separate from my living room, where I can explore, create, and make a mess without having to worry about destroying my landlords wood floors. Sewing can pretty much be done anywhere, but metalworking has different needs entirely, like an alchemists workshop where magic and art are made... I've never itched at going to school so badly until I signed up for the jewelry design course, hopefully it will help to manifest this dream studio.
