All art, Elana Herzog. Fabric, rugs, and blankets with staples. The first one is from a series of Persian rugs called "Civilization and its Discontents" exhibited in 2003, at Smack Mellon, Brooklyn. It would be so incredible to see these in person, but what I'd really love would be to see the artist at work. That kind of destruction done so methodically absolutely fascinates me.
